Information Location
Overview
Manchester Geomatics have a comprehensive track record in providing address quality assurance consultancy and tools.
Address capture, interpretation, verification and matching lie at
the heart of all of our services and products for two reasons:
- Addresses are the key to unlocking detailed local social and economic statistical information.
- Addresses and address quality are also essential for service delivery. For example, staff
may be given an address where they have to supply a service, but finding the building it refers to, finding a
previous history of the address and the area around it, identifying the most appropriate point from which it
should be serviced and identifying areas of high and low demand for the service may be beyond the scope of
most conventional information systems. Yet each of these affects the cost of providing the service and may
inform its future management.
