GIS Software Developer

To cope with a rapidly expanding workload and customer base, Manchester Geomatics Ltd (MGL) are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Software Developer, to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be developing and testing data processing software and web-based visualisation applications.

The ideal candidate is as follows:

  • Enthusiastic & self-motivated
  • At least 1 years development experience in C# .NET and ASP.NET or Java equivalents
  • Experience of using SQL to query databases as well as standard data management practises
  • A good communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of industry standard GIS software(s) would be a distinct advantage
  • Web design, HTML, JavaScript and CSS skills would be a bonus
